2018 was a very important year for Medical Detection Dogs. We first opened our doors, in a small leaking building in Westcott, in June 2008 and we are delighted that in our 10th anniversary year we will open new, purpose built research and training facilities at our centre in Great Horwood.
Everyone here is looking forward to the opportunities that our wonderful new facilities will give us to expand our service, as well as the extra space as we are all pretty cramped at the moment. It has been a long time in the planning and taken the support of many generous donors to raise the funds needed to start the work, so from all of us a huge thank you to everyone who has contributed so far to help Fund the Future.

We will be posting regular updates about our build progress so please keep checking this page.
Help us save more lives
Our ground-breaking work has never been more important.
One in two people born after 1960 will be affected by cancer during their lifetime, diabetes is on the rise and the challenges facing the NHS are well known. We are already making a huge difference to many, but we have the potential to save thousands of lives and transform the future diagnosis of disease by offering a reliable, cost-effective and simple solution to early disease detection – giving people a much greater chance of survival.
None of this is possible without your support so please click here to learn more about our plans and how you can help Fund the Future.
